The Notification Center is located on the navigation bar of the Picvario interface.
In the current version of Picvario, you are able to receive notifications about comments.
The notifications are only available for authorized users.
The notification will include the date and time the comment was created, its author, and the text of the comment itself.
If you click on a notification the asset opens in a new window, and the comment you clicked on will be highlighted.
You have the option of deleting a specific notification or deleting all existing notifications at once.
Once deleted, a notification can be restored within the first 10 seconds.
In the settings, you can select which channels you will receive notifications on.
The Notification Center stores and displays the entire notification history of an individual user’s activity in Picvario.
Subscribing to notifications
Users can subscribe to (or unsubscribe from) comment notifications for a specific asset or collections in the Comments section of the right sidebar, at the bottom bulk actions panel, or in the preview of an asset.
Users are automatically subscribed to comments on all assets and collections they own (meaning they have uploaded or created the asset).
A user also becomes subscribed to comments on an asset or collection if another user mentions them in a comment.
Additionally, a user becomes subscribed to an asset or collection if they leave a comment on it.
Notifications via email
Email notifications are sent 5-7 minutes after a comment is created. Before this point, the comment may be edited or deleted.
